Your Environment Might be Toxic.
We know that you’re conscious about minimizing the use of disposable products! But menstrual pads are unfortunately disposable by nature, and constitute a large portion of your waste footprint. Regular commercial pads are plastic-based, and therefore degrade ungracefully, shedding micro-plastics and leaching compounds when they reach the landfill.
This is where we come in – all is not lost! Papaya pads are entirely plastic-free, and additionally, are compostable. This is not a trivial achievement, it required completely re-engineering how the pad works, and we’re very proud of the result. We’re passionate about protecting the environment, and about doing what we can to lessen our impact on it.
